State of the Snack Report (Winter 25)
As some of you may know, I recently pulled all my music off Spotify. Basically, I just don't agree with their tactics and refused to have my music be on that platform. Not that any of the others are much better, it's just that their bullshit stood out amongst the noise. After over a year of not even looking at the earnings reports for streaming, I checked it out today. I know not a lot of artists will ever get into these numbers, but mine are so ridiculously low, I don't even care. Keep in mind, DistroKid doesn't give you actual streaming numbers for anything other than Spotify, iTunes/Amazon sales, and Apple Music at my mid-tier membership level... So, zero listens on Spotify, obviously. Zero sales on Amazon/iTunes. However, Apple Music did have 67 total streams for the last 365 days. The best part? NONE of them were Snack Morris. They're all You know Lee?. A project I haven't released anything for in almost 7 years. So, today...
